Moscow Senate Hall: a turnkey Made in Italy
Moscow, Russia
In 2012, we were called to Moscow to create the furniture for the Senate Hall. It was a turnkey project, which included the supply of the furniture as well as site works.
The large hall is developed in a semi-circular shape with oak benches arranged in a fan shape. Each workstation is equipped with retractable storage units, electrical equipment, keyboard, tablet, microphone and a seat with swivel castors in forest green leather. The same colour is found in the carpeted flooring.
Light plays a key role throughout the room. LEDs on the ceiling emphasise the curved structure, while those in the counter illuminate and highlight the ashlar work on the fronts.
The walls of the hall are clad with sound-absorbing oak planking panels, which in addition to their functional role, also serve an aesthetic purpose, making the room warmer and more welcoming.
The centrally located presidential stand is made of a wooden structure covered in white Corian.
